It is a powerful yoga posture that stimulates energy flow and strengthens the core. It also supports digestion and promotes a calm, focused mind.
Steps
- Begin in Vajrasana (sitting on your heels).
- Form fists with your hands, with thumbs tucked inside the fingers.
- Inhale deeply, then exhale fully. Place your fists on your lower abdomen, just below the navel, with knuckles facing each other.
- Gently bend forward, holding the position for 5 to 15 seconds.
- Inhale as you return to an upright position.
- Repeat this process 3 to 6 times.
Note: Avoid this pose if you have abdominal or digestive issues, as it places pressure on the lower abdomen.
