Hip & Knee Exercises
Hip and Knee exercises are important for maintaining hip mobility, healthy knees, flexibility, and strength. They can also help improve posture, enhance athletic performance, alleviate hip pain, and prevent injuries. Here are a few simple exercises you can easily incorporate into your daily routine.
Hip Exercises
For all three practices, maintain a standing position with your feet shoulder-width apart and your hands resting on your hips.
Practice 1: Hip Rotations – Slowly rotate your hips in a circular motion, clockwise for six repetitions, then counterclockwise for six repetitions.
Practice 2: Leg Swings – Lift your left leg and swing it forward and backward in a controlled motion, performing twelve repetitions. Repeat the same practice with your right leg.
Practice 3: Leg Rotation – Lift your left leg slightly. Gently rotate your left leg clockwise for six repetitions and then counterclockwise for six repetitions. Repeat the same practice with your right leg.
