Vajrasana (Thunderbolt Pose)

Vajra = Diamond/Thunderbolt, Asana = Pose/Posture

Steps

  1. Kneel on the floor. Next, bring the big toes together, separate your heels and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Lower your bottom onto the inside surface of the feet with the heels touching the sides of the hips.
  3. Finally, place your hands on your thighs with your palms facing down.
  4. Remember, the back and head should be straight but not tense.
  5. Close your eyes, relax the arms and the whole body, breathe normally
  6. This is the only pose one should do after eating.
